How currency conversion is calculated
Official NBG rates express each supported foreign currency in Georgian lari. To convert between two foreign currencies, the calculator first converts the source amount to GEL and then divides it by the target currency's GEL rate. Official rates are reference rates, may not update on non-business days and can differ from commercial bank or card-provider rates.
